LEAD On! Is a ground-breaking community programme, created in partnership with Core & Co, for young people in Birmingham, backed by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the Department for Education.
Launched in February 2025 at the Andrew Simpson Centre on Bartley Green Reservoir, LEAD On! is a fully funded initiative designed to use sailing and watersports as a platform for change. Developing life skills, building confidence, and creating new career opportunities for young people aged 11–16 across the city.
This collaboration combines the Andrew Simpson Foundation’s national expertise in transforming lives through sailing with CORE & Co’s local commitment to social mobility and youth empowerment.
At CORE & Co, we are passionate about supporting young people to unlock their potential. This partnership will create a powerful platform for youth development in Birmingham – one that combines skills, confidence, and real-world opportunities.
