In partnership with RNSA and Greenwich Hospital
Exclusively for partners of serving Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary personnel.
RNSA Go Sailing was created to make sailing fun, inclusive, and accessible for Royal Navy partners across the UK. With no prior experience required, the programme introduces individuals to the water through free, high-quality training and RYA certification, removing barriers and building confidence at every stage.
Delivered in collaboration with the Royal Naval Sailing Association (RNSA), the Andrew Simpson Foundation (ASF) is the lead delivery partner for the RNSA Go Sailing programme. From running sailing sessions to building digital systems that improve access and engagement, ASF provides end-to-end delivery across seven locations nationwide.
Greenwich Hospital supports the wellbeing of the entire Naval family and by funding the ‘Go Sailing’ initiative, we get to broaden the reach of this programme by offering partners an exciting opportunity to learn to sail. Our funding will help develop new skills and resilience for participants while fostering connections and ties within the Royal Navy community.”

We also provide ongoing support through design, social media content, PR, and communications planning, raising awareness of the opportunities available and celebrating the achievements of each sailor.
Funded by Greenwich Hospital, the programme offers free access to all training and activities, reinforcing our shared commitment to the wellbeing and development of Royal Navy families.
We are absolutely thrilled to be expanding the opportunity to learn to sail to include the partners of serving personnel. It is great to support families at a time when the Royal Navy is so busy and the demands on those supporting our Sailors at home are so great. ‘Go Sailing’ is the chance to learn new transferable skills through a shared experience afloat and is a real win. We look forward to making this new project a huge success.”
