Programme partner
World Sailing

World Sailing is the global governing body for the sport of sailing, officially recognised by the International Olympic Committee. World Sailing oversees sailing competitions worldwide and works to develop the sport at all levels, with a strong focus on inclusion, sustainability, and supporting emerging sailors from all backgrounds.
The Andrew Simpson Foundation partners with World Sailing to transform lives through sailing on a global scale. Together, they work to break down barriers to entry, increase accessibility, and create opportunities for young people and communities around the world to experience the benefits of sailing, from grassroots participation to potential professional pathways.
This partnership focuses on using sailing as a tool for positive social change, supporting community health and well-being, and encouraging greater diversity and inclusion within the sport worldwide. By combining ASF’s expertise in community engagement and youth development with World Sailing’s global reach and leadership, the partnership inspires more people to get on the water, build confidence and life skills, and promote a more inclusive and sustainable future for sailing.
Through our partnership with World Sailing, we’re able to extend our mission of transforming lives through sailing to even more communities around the world. Together, we’re creating accessible pathways for young people to learn, grow, and thrive, both on and off the water.”
