Volunteers Instructor Training Grants

As part of our 5 Key Charitable Activities, the Andrew Simpson Foundation issues Volunteer Instructor Training Grants.  These grants will significantly increase the number of qualified volunteers in sailing clubs around the UK – allowing them to enlarge their training calendars and ensure that as many people as possible are offered the opportunity to enjoy and benefit from the sport of sailing.

We will offer at least 200 fully subsidised places per year on RYA Dinghy Instructor and RYA Senior Instructor Courses. Endorsements are also available.

Much of the training will take place at one of the Andrew Simpson Watersports Centres in Portland, Portsmouth, Burghfield Lake near Reading and Lake Garda, Italy. Other specifically targeted course will be held at venues around the UK.

To apply for a grant please contact Lindsay Frost on 01305 457077 or lindsay@andrewsimpsonfoundation.org
